ABOUT ME

I currently teach math to students who struggle with the traditional

school environment, but I am looking for a career change. EXPERIENCE

Fusion Global Academy, Math Teacher August 2022-Present Teaches remotely using one-to-one instruction. Each class is individualized to each student’s learning needs. I teach math ranging from Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus.

Futures Academy MB, Math Teacher June 2021-June 2022 Taught students ranging from grades 6-12 using one-to-one instruction. The school caters to students who generally struggle in school. I reengage students by adapting the curriculum and differentiating instruction. Math can be fun!

Lord Tutoring, Founder Jul 2019 - June 2021

Taught students with learning disabilities like ADHD, dyslexia and autism spectrum disorder. I worked with 10-17 year old students on test prep, reading comprehension, and a variety of subjects ranging from Trigonometry to European History.

Vault Prep, Senior Tutor Jan 2017 - Jul 2019

Prepared students for higher education by teaching ACT and SAT test taking skills and implemented a tutor training program that incorporated the latest research-backed pedagogy.

Fusion Academy, Teacher/Mentor Jan 2017 - Jun 2017 Taught content remediation in math, science and history to students ranging from 7th grade to 11th grade. Differentiated curriculum and lesson plans to meet each student’s needs.

LA LGBT Youth Center, GED Tutor Mar 2016 - Apr 2017 Tutored GED prep to homeless students ranging from age age 15 to 26 within the LA queer community. Helped incorporate new study strategies and teaching techniques in the volunteer training program. San Diego Center for Children, Counselor Dec 2014 - Jun 2015 Provided physical care and social and moral guidance for developmentally, emotionally, and physically disabled adolescents in therapeutic interventions and behavior modification.
