Summarize and present to Construction Manager all safety systems and related implementation procedures for inclusion into the monthly progress report – (Monitoring activities, site progress and quality of installations) pertaining to Site safety plans. Identify, document and recommend resolution of hazardous/potential hazardous site conditions; follow through to insure timely corrections have been made by the Contractor.

Investigate personal injury and property damage accidents immediately and produce reports. Compile data, photographs, etc.; prepare all pertinent forms and reports per Local regulations associated with accidents/safety infractions. Conduct various industrial hygiene samplings, inert gas monitoring, 02 monitoring, and noise test monitoring to ensure safe working conditions. (Especially in confined area work spaces) Review and make sure various entry permits (i.e. to confine spaces) are in place or as required for the job at hand. Assist in conducting inspectors on walk through tours as part of their site progress evaluations May accompany inspectors on walk through tours.

Assist in emergency rescues as required.

Assist in maintaining fire protection and electrical grounding systems. Maintain awareness of amendments to the Occupational Health & Safety Act and local regulations as well as making recommendations for their implementation.

Perform job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analysis, safe work procedures, written reports and recommendations.
