During my time working at Legacy would assist residents with bathing, changing, hygiene, and their

overall wellness. would perform small tasks as well like taking vitals such as weighing residents,

taking temperatures, and blood pressure. When wasn't getting call lights from residents would sit

down and chart for the hours was scheduled for. During charting would report sudden acts that

seemed strange, so the nurse would look over them. also learned how to be patient and listen to

what they needed, started to understand that the residents are put into a hard position. They

sometimes feel lonely, not heard, or forgotten about so would try my best to assist the residents as

best as could and to my full potential, the residents appreciated the time and effort that was put in.

My active listening and problem solving skills helped me a lot with the residents and their families.
