The Student Support Interventionist plans and provides learning experiences for students who demonstrate challenging behaviors in the educational setting. Essential Duties

• Collect data regarding student behaviors and develop appropriate modifications to foster responsible thinking and decision-making skills in students.

• Use discipline data (quantitative / qualitative) to monitor, group, and provide intervention to identified students.

• Adjust groups as needed based on the discipline data.

• Create lesson plans for each group and turn them into the appropriate google folder for the upcoming week.

• Use ongoing data sources to maintain a record of student progress.

• Use data from admin, teachers, and referral documents to target specific interventions needed for identified students.

• Create goals with students and monitor their progress using their individual referral documentation.
