Experience
2021 – Present: Price headed several stateside corporate PSDs for a variety of elite clients, providing 24/7 residential and corporate security in aquatic and terrestrial environments.
May 2018 – Feb 2021: DOS WPS instructor for Garda World as a Tactical instructor and taught a variety of courses mandated by the program.
Aug 2018 – Oct 2019: Price served as an ATA SPEAR Mentor assigned to the DOS Regional Security Officer in the Central African Republic and Niger and Democratic Republic of Congo. Price provided oversight for multiple SPEAR programs, advising US Embassies on their security protocols, assisting the host nation with their security leadership, and overseeing SPEAR training programs throughout the region.
July 2013 – Feb 2018: In Kabul, Afghanistan, served as a Training Manager of Task Order 9 and Shift Lead overseeing compliance and weapons training for the DOS WPS program. As an ITI Instructor, supervised the Afghan Bodyguard training and compliance with ITAR requirements for locals enhancing the American Task Order teams, and participated in course development for DOS approved training courses still operational today.
May 2012 – July 2013: In Mazar E Sharif, Afghanistan, Price was the Shift Lead of Task Order 11 for the DOS WPS program; formulated/implemented strategic plans and directive for emergency action response of the QRF for Camp Little Bear as well as attack response; supervised 20 Third Country Nationals; oversaw movement security for diplomats throughout the region.
May 2006 – Nov 2011: In Baghdad, Iraq, Price served in various leadership positions on the Department of State WPS Program for Task Order 5 as a Shift Leader and Integrated Training Instructor (ITI). Price helped developed the course materials needed to train PSS personnel, including the Iraqi Bodyguard Program, and formulated/implemented strategic plans and directive for emergency action response of the QRF for the Man Camp. Price also served as a on the QRF team and provided movement security for diplomats moving through high-risk areas.
Dec 2002 – Jan 2006: Price was assigned to Naval Station Bahraini while serving in the US Navy Reserves. Price was the Team Lead assigned to Embarked Security Detachment 132/ Mobile Security Squadron 3 in Bahraini. He also served during this time at Del Mar College West as the Supervisor of Training. He oversaw 10 instructors assigned to the Navy Center for Antiterrorism and Navy Security Forces Courses and handled operational aspects of the programs. He was honorably discharged at the rank of E-5.
Dec 2002 –Nov 2003: Price was assigned to Umm Quasar and Basra, Iraq while serving in the US Navy Reserves. Price was the Team Lead for a PSD assigned to Inner Coastal Boat Unit – 15, whose primary objective was the protection of Commodore A.C. Painter, Commander, Naval Coastal Warfare, Group 1 followed by Command Group and assigned VIPs. His team also provided tactical support and escorts to adjacent units during joint operations. Price was a member of the Security Force Protection Team’s Instructor program, provided instruction on procedures relating to Naval Costal Warfare Group 1.
Aug 1994 – Dec 1999: Price started his career serving in the US Navy where his team provided tactical support for the US DEA in Panama and stabilization efforts for the Kosovo Campaign. Price was a Navy certified Range Master and small arms marksman instructor. He was honorably discharged at the rank of E-4.
