DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a.Inspecting construction works and comparing the same with drawings and specifications

b.Measuring and quality checking of building materials,identifying defects and suggesting ways to correct them

c.Monitoring progress of site works and reporting to construction managers, architects and clients

d.Keeping detailed records of work including materials and labour .

e.Referring to plans and taking photographs of work, along with measurements and samples

f.Liaising with contractors, engineers and surveyors

g.Checking that building regulations, health and safety, legal and ecological requirements are met
