I am a real estate expert and familiar with numerous types of commercial and residential transactions having worked with various types of real estate and construction projects that were located in 35 states and 5 countries.

During my career I have successfully negotiated for and closed approximately 300 individual properties that were leased and/or purchased by the corporations that I worked for. Also having been an owner’s representative and a project manager for numerous commercial and manufacturing building remodels and renovations for private and public companies.

REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT RELATED

A representative list of the types of developments that I worked on is:

oResidential subdivisions in Northern Illinois, Eastern Iowa, Western Michigan, and southern Wisconsin. Projects ranged in size for 10 units up to 244 units and some included golf courses (a Jack Nicklaus Golf design and a Robert Lohman Golf design), neighborhood shopping center, and condominium units.

oSubdivision approval for a multi-housing project in Long Grove, IL.

oAssisted living facility in Long Grove, IL.

oThe resolution of numerous wetlands remediation projects and environmental issues.

oFeasibility study and plan review for a PUD having an 80-unit apartment building, a gas station with c-store, and a small gaming facility.

Successfully have worked with ComEd, NICOR, IDNR, WDNR, and the Army Corp of Engineers.

CONSTRUCTION RELATED

Construction project management and / or owner’s representative for:

oWestmount Realty Capital, Innovative Foods, Mistica Foods, Quantum Foods, Libertyville Bank & Trust, Everest Academy (a 25,000 sq. ft. Catholic grade school), and a residential PUD with 241 residential lots and a Jack Nicklaus Designed golf course in the Quad Cities area.

oUtility and road construction, detention facilities, warehouse expansions, numerous small retail, office, and restaurant remodels.

Hired contractors and / or supervised project closeouts, construction budgets, and working with the architects, engineers, and sub-contractors on the project improvements and new construction.
