• Title Awarded: UCLA Keck Creative/Humanistic Inquiry Fellow (2023) – Data collection via focus group interviews and historical document analysis to write book on intersectional perspectives of the Black experience in the United States. Text mining for pattern recognition in responses along with expert accounts will design book themes and content.
• Title Awarded: UCLA Bunche Research Scholar (2021) – Assisted Dr. Karida Brown in the production of a book intended to be a contemporary version of W.E.B. Du Bois’ Brownies’ Book.
