1. Waterspider, this role I was in charge of making sure I was pulling containers before they were overloaded with packages. When pulling a container the first thing was to close the container with your scanner disable the chute, print the label stick on to the container and take the container to either to a staging area or to a dock door if available
2. GTDR, this was Global Trailer Dock and Release, I was responsible for opening dock doors were their was empty trailers, I would go through step-by-step process on a tablet on how to safely open the dock door once the trailer was full or empty I would release it using the tablet 3. CPT, Critical Pull Time The time in which an order is in danger of not shipping in time for customer delivery cut-offs, We were a group of 4 or more associates our role here was to load certain containers and made sure those packages were loaded into that truck a a certain time. This is a very important role in the ship dock (outbound) department.
4. Also gained the experience of being a ship clerk for a few months I was responsible for putting trailers on the dock doors.
5. I Was also part of the AFM team where we would monitor the the floor full of drives in the second floor make sure everything was working well, the drives are moving smoothly and properly if a package would fall from it’s drive we would go inside the AR floor pick it up. If the drive drove off their route we would go in and reset the drive place it back on the route and turn the drive back on we are given a vest that we have to turn on once we go inside the AR floor this vest would stop the other drives around us for safety reasons
