Every child brings new life information and experiences that impact their learning to our shared space. As educators, I feel it is important to teach using culturally relevant techniques to ensure students can connect to these projects more profoundly. I feel art is beautiful and powerful. I strive to create a safe environment in which students of all demographics can feel seen, heard, and appreciated while feeling successful in learning about topics they are interested in.
