PROFILE
I’m an incredibly well organized lady who prides in giving excellent service as a nutritionist and dietitian. I enjoy working with patients and most importantly I have a caring, loving heart and serves my clients with utmost patience and understanding “I don’t give patients any false hope, I just find a space in their hearts to serve them.” My inspiration is driven by the words of Arnold Ehret, “Life is a tragedy of nutrition.” I possess excellent communication skills, diplomatic eloquence, and a creative thinker with high level problem-solving skills. I work with lots of commitment to achieve set targets timely under very minimal supervision. I’m passionate about healthy living hence pride in offering community service in matters nutrition and sustainable health practices. I’m self-driven, goal oriented, visionary and sees challenges as an opportunity to grow. I’m flexible, adaptive, social, and most importantly a passionate nutritionist and dietitian. My desire of becoming a dietitian was driven by, Jim Rohn, a nutritionist, who said “take care of your body, it is the only place to live.”

WORK EXPERIENCE
GATUNYU DISPENSARY, MURANG’A COUNTY
Serves as a Nutritionist Attaché from March 2020 to June 2021. Notable achievements:
As the first ever nutritionist posted to this dispensary, I lay the groundwork for the establishment of a nutrition department in the facility.
I Introduced and initiated supplementation program in the Comprehensive Care Clinic (CCC) as well as the Tuberculosis clinic.
Through my community outreach program at the health facility, I helped alleviate child nutrition by extending vitamin A supplementation to all children under five years in the dispensary’s catchment area.
I maintained meticulous health records of all the services I rendered at the health facility.
MARAGUA SUB-COUNTY HOSPITAL
Served as a volunteer Nutritionist between June 2018 and December 2019.
Notable Achievements:
I performed my duty in guiding my junior colleagues in the profession by mentoring attaché students in the Nutrition department to develop practical skills in this field.
Through practical application of my skills especially in paediatric nutrition, I helped improve the quality of child nutrition services at the hospital especially at the paediatrics ward
