Northern Pipeline Construction (NPL) - Kokomo, IN

September 2019 to Present

1. As I worked for NPL I started out fusing pipe which includes the following ( butt fusion, electrofusion, stab couplings ). I Would do tie-in points, and bypasses. when doing a service I would fuse the service to the main, then once the service T was cool down enough I would put my service on test to ensure there were no leaks once the test was complete I would tap the service putting the service back in use with natural gas once that was done I would go to the residence riser and purge the riser until it was at 100% natural gas once that was complete I would hook up my locator at the riser and I would locate the service all the way to the main and as doing so would mark with yellow paint, and flags the exact path that the new Natural gas service is located so that future contractors can identify that there is natural gas in that exact location.

2. I also labored for Northern Pipeline which doing so I dug the holes for Tie-ins and I burnt on anodes for cathodic protection onto the main. I dug riser holes I installed PE pipe for Services and set the riser at the location of the residence I backfilled And have done lots of cleanup work. I also located utilities before we did any type of work in that location for a Cautionary measure. 3. utilities include, Electric (red), water (blue), fiber optic / Cable TV (Orange), natural gas (yellow), sewers (Green), While locating now it’s utility I would also Mark with the appropriate color paint the Exact locations of each utility So that we knew exactly where each utility was located for safe working. I was very proficient digging with a John Deere combination belt holes for connection points for fiber optic conduit after digging them up I would cut them and coupling them together and backfill I also ran a front and loader for hauling out spoil. I labored for just about six years also labored prior to working for (Meade) ran heavy equipment for the last eight years personally also side jobs.i’ve operated the following, a Back Hoe (combination) a 314 cat excavator, a mini excavator also loader a dozer and a skid loader. I am very confident in my experience and capabilities of operating heavy equipment digging ditch to lay pipe I did a lot of joint trench working with MEADE. While doing joint trench I set primary pedestals, secondary pedestals and transformers We was averaging 1200 Ft a day not including my stub outs i’m very qualified and have lots of experience on big jobs. digging around lots of utilities will not be an issue because I have done a lot of that...I am also qualified through Nipsco to Füse PE pipe on the job was qualified and the Laporte Indiana office..
