Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, turn – 5 sc.

Row 2: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in last sc, turn – 7 sc.

Row 3: Ch 1, 2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in last sc, turn – 9 sc.

Row 4: Ch 1, sc across, turn.

Repeat Row 4, 12 (15) more times.

Row 17 (20): Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, sk 1 sc, sc in next 5 sc, sk 1 sc, sc in last sc, turn – 7 sc.

Row 18 (21): Ch 1, sc in 1st sc, sk 1 sc, sc in next 3 sc, sk 1 sc, sc in last sc, turn – 5 sc.

Foot

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in 5 sc from Sole, turn and work 19 (22) sts along edge of Sole, turn and work 5 sts across beginning ch edge of Sole, turn and work 19 (22) sts along edge of Sole – 48 (54) sc. Place marker in the last sc and begin working in a spiral. Move marker up each rnd to keep track of the end of the round.

Rnds 3-5: Sc in each sc around.
