MECHANICAL BEHAVIOUR OF FRICTION STIR WELDED ALUMINIUM ALLOY AA2024 & AA8011 The joining of dissimilar AA2024 & AA8011 aluminium plates of 6mm thickness was carried out by friction stir welding (FSW) technique. Four different tool designs have been employed to analyze with constant rotation speed and traverse speed over the tensile properties.In this study, the effect of the presence of single parameters with various tools are cylindrical, Hexagonal, Square, & Triangular profile tool welded with friction stir processing Am6082 alloy plates is documented.
