Short Film Projects

“Murders” Animated Music Video

January 2021 to May 2021

A fully 2D animated, colored, and audio-including animation, featuring dark visuals paired to a section of a song. Everything about the project was done by me, except for the song, which I used with permission from the band “Miracle Musical”. I submitted it to the NewYork Cinematography Awards in 2021 and it became a semi-finalist!

“Sweet Dreams” Animated Narrative Short

August 2021 to December 2021

Another fully 2D animated short film, where I once did the full project myself. I was even challenged with recording my own voice and sound effects. This film tells the story of a man suffering from chronic nightmares, before he is ultimately consumed by them. I learned a lot more about time management with this experience, and I saw the improvement.

“Finger Lickin’ Good” Animated Narrative Short

August 2022 to May 2023

To complete this project I got the help of two collaborators, a background artist and a composer. Working with others and the longer deadline has resulted in what I believe to be my best work yet. This film tells the story of a chef who owns a failing restaurant and struggles to impress a visiting food critic, until a gruesome accident. The short has already been honored at a “Best of the Best of Student Films” RIT 2023 showing that will be sent to LA to be screened again. Additionally, the film has received numerous honors from film festivals around the country including “Best Student Film” at the BlackCat PictureShow of Augusta, GA

Work Experience

Froster

Nothing Bundt Cakes - Stamford - Stamford, CT

July 2020 to January 2022

As the Froster, it is my job to make the frosting, properly store it, and be able to apply it to the different sizes of cakes in whichever style the customer asks for. In my down time I also assist the bakers package and label the unfrosted cakes. A big aspect of this job was working with a team to deliver a final collaborative product.

"Gracie's" Staff

RIT Dining Services - Rochester, NY

November 2019 to March 2020

My position was "floater", meaning that I was able to fill in for any shift that may be understaffed during my shifts. Assorted duties included preparing and serving all kinds of food, cleaning the dining room and work stations, and working the cash register. A big aspect of this job was working with a team and adapting to fill in wherever help was needed.

Animator/Director of student films

RIT animation program - Rochester, NY

August 2020 - May 2023

You may feel that calling this a job is cheating, but it’s worth pointing out that I did produce three animated shorts in three years. I organized and followed my schedule, budgeted my time and resources, and met each deadline. I coordinated with a composer and illustrator to create a successful collaboration. I participated in critiques, understanding the useful and useless comments in order to improve my work to the best of my ability. I was the writer, art director, animator and colorist for each project. Game Presenter

Evolution Gaming - Fairfield, CT

October 2023 - Present

As a “GP”, I sit or stand in front of a livestream audience in order to present the game that they are playing, typically Blackjack. I interact with these players and spectators, answering their questions and having conversations. I must follow procedure to a tee since large amounts of real money is on the line during each game. Additionally, being a 24/7 studio, meeting the appearance standards and arriving on time is extremely important.
