Objective:
I am interested in obtaining a position in which I am able to best serve the Healthcare Community. I have extensive experience working with all age groups and consider “hard sticks” my specialty. I would like a position that will allow me to exercise my leadership skills as well as my vast knowledge of Phlebotomy and the Instruction thereof.
I have recently relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina and would like to continue my career in Instruction or management.

My responsibilities included all aspects of the Health Department Laboratory. Blood and Covid specimen collection and processing, packaging and DOT transports, paperwork (Quality Assurance and Quality Control) and supplies. I was the Safety Officer/ Blood Borne Pathogens trainer, and I am current on all OSHA and CLIA regulations as they pertain to the laboratory. Also, I performed Criminal DNA collections for Greene County in correlation with the State Bureau of Investigation. I am audited by the North Carolina State Laboratory of Public Health quarterly and had zero notable deficiencies in the 18 years that I held this position.
