Built and strengthened relationships across worldwide field teams by delivering domestic and international software conferences designed to bring technical enablement to IBM’s internal field team members (sales, technical sales, and services), business partners, and IBM customers. Provided more than 1000 reps with technical enablement annually. Conferences were $1M+ projects.

Accelerated global sales for new products and new product releases by delivering enablement to IBM’s top-tier, worldwide field reps, in parallel with the actual product development. These “Regional Mentor” programs were designed to educate a concentrated team of elite sales reps, who would in-turn propagate this new information to reps within their own region.

Daily responsibilities included team building, overseeing and coordinating cross-team efforts between design, development, infrastructure, and logistics. Responsible for developing project plans, tracking/reporting overall project status, running status/work and post-mortem meetings, driving agenda to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of projects. Additional responsibilities included collecting and analyzing project metrics, community building, and documentation.

Software Globalization Coordinator 1/2006 – 10/2007

Penetrated new global software markets through managing the translation of IBM products. Worked with software product teams, using both RUP and Agile methodolgies, to coordinate translation projects between product team, designers, worldwide translation and testing centers. Mastered a large number of translation tools. Wrote process documentation for all future software translation within the Rational brand.

Spearheaded the integration of Rational web properties with IBM developerWorks (dW) immediately following IBM’s acquisition of Rational (2/20/03). Managed multiple migration projects to bring Rational content into compliance with IBM standards. Updated internal production process to align with IBM. Provided training to Rational team on IBM standards and publishing tools. Managed daily production and maintenance of IBM Rational web properties.
