As an employee for Fastenal in Tehachapi California I was an OSR and Account Specialist. As an account specialist for Borax mine (Rio Tinto) I helped with the implementation of about 20 FMI locations around the plant and 17 vending machines. As well I worked closely with 11 department heads and the plant director in special projects as well as shutdowns. I grew the business at Borax to $50,000-to $70,000 a month. Was taken off assignment due to switching districts who could offer more support than mine. After Borax ended I took on the roll of an OSR, landed 2 cement mines, maintained a gold mine, and most of the Mojave deserts wind farms, extending to companies such as Vestas Wind, Ibergrola, GE wind energy, Tehachapi wind wall, and a lot of construction companies. Towards the end of my time in Tehachapi I also was servicing two Blattner solar projects, averaging $10,000- $15,000 a month. As an OSR my book of business was averaging $50,000-$60,000 a month sometimes reaching just under $100,000 during shutdowns. I transferred with Fastenal to Carrol Iowa where I grew a BOB to about $30,000 a month. I left there to pursue my own company moving me down to Columbus Ne. With Ups and downs I have returned to Fastenal for almost a year and have taken a BOB averaging 5-7 thousand a month to most likely reaching $25,000 and again was promoted to an Account Specialist role, and the General Manager role until I have decided to move back to California to take care of my parents in their final years. Duties and responsibilities as GM were Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, managing inventory and reducing inventory from previous manager, and starting the drive for new business! Owner/Operator
