To prevent disease spread, clean assigned areas by washing furnishings, walls, floors, and equipment with special cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
Sanitize and shine sinks, mirrors, tubs, and other similar items.
Restock on soap, towels, and other consumables.
Strip, wash, and make beds as directed, using proper discharge procedures.
Collect soiled linen and transport it to the proper storage location.
Empty waste baskets and ashtrays, and arrange
furniture neatly.

Mirrors, ledges, vents, light fixtures, fire extinguisher, cabinets, baseboards, bathroom fixtures, and corners should all be cleaned.
Vacuum carpets and dust blinds.
Carpets should be spot and steam cleaned.
Tile floors should be refinished.
As assigned, steam clean beds, stretchers and
gurneys, and other rolling-stock equipment.
Mechanical failures and negative conditions should be reported as they occur.
Return unused supplies to utility rooms at the end of the shift, leave soiled linen and trash in designated areas, and clean cart and equipment.
In terms of universal precautions and isolation cleaning procedures, adhere to the established infection control protocol.
Identify safety issues and report them to their
immediate supervisor as soon as possible.
