Located in the Permian Basin. Travel daily over rough roads in all kinds of weather conditions, to assure the oil and gas wells located in field are properly maintained and are working efficiently.
Daily responsibilities include:
Keep safety as a first priority at all times.
Operate engines and pumps in order to shut off wells according to production schedules, and to control flow of oil and water into storage tanks.
Monitor control panels, pumps and other equipment during pumping operations in order to ensure that fluids are being pumped at the correct pressure, density, rate, and concentration.
Inspect pipes and other components to identify leaks or other potential hazards.
Check and test water transfer pumps, separation dumps and gauges.
Manage separation issues, perform oil transfers and monitor flare rates.

Worked in the San Juan Basin. Responsible for oil production, upkeep and maintenance on oil leases. Followed gauging and maintenance procedures for successful site management. Monitored and operated oil and water pumps to ensure they were working properly. Replaced parts, and did minor repairs on pump jacks, tanks, compressors, and other equipment.

Worked in the San Juan Basin. Began as an Electrician in 2009. Promoted to Pumper in 2010. Maintained pumping units and compressors, plunger systems, as well as FE projects. Monitored equipment operation to ensure proper functioning. Performed minor repairs as needed.
