Skills Phlebotomist: Draw patients by venipuncture and capillary draws. I am able to draw all ages from infants, to geriatric ages.I have 21 years experience in this field. I greet my patients,check in process, verify insurance, collect all payments at time of service. Verify patients information before draw, label tubes or specimens. I also have to centrifuge samples, separate due to test requirements put in refrigeration or freezer or room temperature whatever is required for each individual patient. I greet patients, get doctor’s orders into the EMR system, verify everything is the correct address,phone numbers,insurance and collect all payments due for service. I perform venipuncture draws on about 120 patients a day. I open and close the office, order supplies,Handle safety processing of specimens,

refrigeration,room temperature,or frozen for shipping out specimens to include,urine,stool samples also. June 2015 to July 2016/ Phlebotomist

Work as a phlebotomist did all draws required for research studies, collected blood, urine, stool samples. Did all the processing necessary for the courier to pick up samples. Followed all protocols, was able to train new hire employees, this lab was inside a clinic so we sent out labs to Labcorp and Quest, made sure to follow all protocols required by both labs. Doctor office went out of business so I was only here for 1 year, but the best experience of my life was working with all Military veterans. Medfirst Primary Care
