the country about the importance of oral hygiene, correct methods of brushing teeth and

the use of dental floss. In addition, basic treatments such as fluoride therapy, tooth scaling

simple restorations and tooth extractions was performed in these Health Centers

2006 – 2007 General Dentistry Internship; Kerman University of Medical Sciences

Public Health Dentistry was the most dominant part of our internship. Examining the oral

cavity of school children and referring them to dental centers for treatment was our main

duty during this period. I was also one of the four interns who volunteered to serve the

mentally disabled kids.
