Class Work Breakdown:

CCNA

My class work covered the configuring and development of a network with everything including the configuraƟon of the switches and routers.

This work helped me develop my understanding of network components and how they integrate to allow the travel of packets across the network. Firewalls and VPNs

pfSense Firewalls, VPNs, Siems

● In this class I was able to get my foot in the door with various aspects of Firewalls and VPNs more specifically how to configure them to fit within a network.

● My experience with firewalls is mainly with pfSense as that was what the class work covered but by geƫng familiar with it I have a lot of general knowledge that can be useful for many other SIEMs

● We also had a focus on SIEMs and their role in the management of a network and its components.

IPS/IDS

IDS, IPS, Siem

● Throughout this class I would work to configure and network IPS systems to work within the assigned network.

● Within this class I got more experience in the ways a network funcƟons and specifically the management and security of a network. Configuring and Support Windows

ConfiguraƟon, Management

Within this class I gained a deeper understanding of the more technical side of windows and how to set up machines and manage them.

This class covered all available versions of Windows up to windows 10. Configuring and Support Linux

This class has a similar construcƟon to that of the windows class where I am tasked with configuring and supporƟng various versions of Linux. WORK EXPERIENCE
