****-**** ****-**** ***** Animation, Burbank, CA. Lyon-Lamb created a controller which allowed single-frame video recording on professional-grade videotape recorders. I was responsible for prototyping new product ideas as an adjunct to the chief engineer.

1984-1986 Shoreline, Ltd, Hollywood, CA Sales consultant for professional teleproduction equipment. Moving into outside sales, visiting customers, assessing their needs, and designing equipment systems for camera and edit systems for broadcast and industrial clients in the Los Angeles area.

1987 – 1995 NTSC Productions. (My company) NTSC produced an instructional videotape describing the steps that were required to align and optimize tube-type video cameras. The videotape sold well over 300 copies (at $150 ea) to colleges and universities and was featured in the product catalog for the Sony Video Institute in Hollywood.

1991-2002 TTM Computer Graphics. (My company) TTM located and refurbished used Tektronix video display terminals. In the early days of CAD/CAM, Tektronix and Instagraph were the primary companies producing this type of equipment. Ultimately, TTM became the main supplier of this type of equipment in the US other than Tektronix itself. Tektronix had to provide service availability for this equipment ten years after they ceased production, and TTM ultimately became the equipment source for Tektronix itself, purchasing its own equipment to fulfill service needs.

I appreciate that I have not been an employee for 35 or so years, choosing instead to form two companies in the Los Angeles /Hollywood area, where I relocated in about 1982. I have been retired since about 2002.

Both companies were quite successful. In both cases, the equipment used in the subject industries moved on to far more advanced technologies that required much more capital than I was capable of mustering. The same is true of TTM. At its peak, TTM had a remarkable Fortune-100 client list, including AT&T, Texas Instruments, Mobil Chemical, Hughes Aerospace, TRW, and Applied Materials, among others. The Dow Chemical refinery complex in Freeport, TX ran entirely on Tektronix terminals of which I supplied at least 200 refurbed units.

Among my highest values are responsibility, showing up on time, and fulfilling my commitments. I am very careful operating equipment of any kind. I am very good at not breaking things. I understand the limits of my abilities and know when to call in outside expertise.
