Facilities & Grounds Service Technician with 15+ year of experience with progressive career growth with experience gained in fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing / distribution environments under continuous safety, quality, cost control and deadline pressure.

Acquired in 2013 by Quad, the Wisconsin based, commercial printer, the Salt Lake City site was previously owned and operated by Vertis Communications – the facility printed, finished, and distributed retail advertising, newspaper & promotional inserts. The printing industry is adapting within an ever-evolving e-communications environment resulting in plant closures, consolidations and nationwide restructuring impacting me and many others.

Building Services Technician

●Principal custodian providing daily cleaning and minor maintenance on building / grounds.

●Change filters in all HVAC unit. Strip, seal, and wax floors.

●Recycling / Recovery Systems Operator (Baler) – administering / weighing / safe-handling & loss-prevention procedures of all production scrap materials. Retrieve / Earn cost-savings in the recycling markets.

●Manage custodial supplies inventory and purchase supplies.

●Responsible for all aspects of janitorial duties throughout the facility.

Production Team Member

●Fill in as a production team member when necessary, providing material handling skills and support and assist the Lead Operator – stack forms / palletize.

●Responsible for setting stacker and pallets for finished product.

Building Construction – Salt Lake City Community College, Draper, UT

Building Maintenance – Pittsburg Job Corp., Pittsburg, PA
