I am an enthusiastic graduate, easy to adapt to modern trends and technological way of solving problems and aspiring to use my theoretical, technical and innovation skills acquired during my educational career, internship and current position to work in any electrical/electronic engineering and managerial field. Main achievements

The technical leader spearheading all pipe water production, treatment, installation and extension in a rural community water system. Successfully resolved challenging and reoccurring problems.

I teamed up with a colleague to design and construct an electrical device that was taken to various exhibitions by Koforidua Technical University.

I designed and constructed simple electronic circuits used in the science laboratory at Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi for tutoring students.

As a result of good leadership, managerial and innovative skills displayed, I was assigned to serve as the coordinator for science teachers for a whole year during my national service.

I was part of the teachers who groomed the history making National Science and Maths quiz team for Aburi Sectech that reached the quarter final stage for their first ever entry into the national level.

During an internship program at the Electricity Company of Ghana for, I was adjudged the well behaved personnel among a group of about 10 students due to the remarkable good human relations displayed at the workplace.

I was an active participant of the teachers who took students from New Dawn Intelligence Academy to their first ever BECE examinations of which they all attained 100 % pass mark. Afterwards I was handed the teachers coordinator position.

Skills

Electrical motor control, operation and maintenance.

Technical and theoretical knowhow in electrical cable maintenance and installation as well as various cable testing.

Adequately know the operations and use of electronic devices such as radio, television and telecommunication machineries.

Well understand the parts and functions of transformers and can carry out a number of transformer maintenance procedures like IRT, continuity test and transformer oil tests.

Fully understand the processes involved in the SCADA system used by the Electricity Company of Ghana including its benefits and hindrances in Ghana.

I can easily work with all the Microsoft suites that include Microsoft word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher. Also I can use various electrical or electronic simulation softwares like multisim, pswise, circuit wizard, AutoCAD electrical and MATLAB. I have a fair knowledge in c++ programming language which I obtained a grade A in the University.

I have a good human relation and communications skills that was well acknowledged during my internship at ECG.

I possess an active vehicle driver’s licence A and B.

An in-depth knowledge about pipe laying design and installation, procurement of materials and budget design.

Work experience

March 2020-present

Technician Engineer at Community Water and Sanitation Agency. Oversee all technical duties in managing a water supply system. Electrical motors are used in pumping and treated potable water is distributed to households and institutions.

July 2019 –present

As an agent for Exelcom Limited.

After completing a trainee program on Burglar Alarm Systems, Conventional and addressable fire systems, Access control and IP and analogue CCTV systems I function as a sales person to the Company.

September 2017 – February 2020

As a Mathematics and Science teacher.

I double as a class teacher and a subject teacher due to my leadership skills. I have led the maiden batch of the school to the 2018 BECE examinations and preparing another batch as well. I coach some of the students to design simple science projects.

August 2016 – April 2017

As an Applied Electricity teacher at Bright Senior High Technical School. I handled applied electricity in Bright Senior High school. I doubled as a House master and a teacher due to my leadership skills and good human management. I have successfully taken a full batch of students to the WASSCE 2017 examinations where there was outstanding performance by the students.

September 2015 – August 2016

As a Physics teacher at Presbyterian Senior High Technical School Aburi. I was assigned to teach Elective Physics and Core Science. I organized extra practical sessions for about 100 students. This resulted in drastic improvement in their academic performance. I coordinated science teachers and organized four successful general tests and two end of terminal examination which was rarely the case in times past.

June 2014 – August 2014

As an Electrical engineering laboratory assistant at Koforidua Technical Institute.

As a lab assistant, I led in setting up lab apparatus for basic electronics and electrical installation. I made demonstrations on simple motors and generator connections and control operations of various types of electrical motors.

January 2013 – February 2013 and June 2013 – August 2013 Industrial attachment with ECG.

I worked with the various departments in ECG. I acquired skills in terminating cables, line fault diagnostics, mapping of projects using computer aided software such as AutoCAD electrical and the use of the SCADA system. Education

Interest

Designing, simulation using computer aided design software, construction and implementation of electronic circuits are usually my hobbies.

Solving simple electrical mathematical principles riddles and puzzles are what I while away the time with.

I actively participate in a free voluntary attitudinal education work aimed at grooming responsible citizens every weekend.
