• Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, and other Systems/Network Engineers. Key Accomplishments

• Multiple storage array migrations the latest from VMAX to PowerMax involving four RecoverPoint clusters and over 160 ESXi hosts.

• Successfully upgraded from vCenter v6.0u1to v6.7.u1, requiring ESXi upgrades on all of the ESXi hosts from v6.0.u1 to v6.0.3 to v6.7.u1, new install of SRM v8.0, and upgrade of vRA from v7.4 to v7.6.

• Successfully migrated a major airline’s ecommerce systems into IBM cloud (Softlayer); used HCX to migrate existing VM’s into one data center and PowerCLI scripts to build new VM’s in another data center, resulting in a smooth transition with minimal downtime to the environment.

• Performed 2 hardware upgrades and more than 6 firmware upgrades, including software and hardware upgrades of the RecoverPoint appliances in 2 data centers, resulting in better performance.

• Lead Systems Engineer on a project to increase the capacity of the vCenter infrastructure completed with no downtime and under budget; added new HP CX7000 blade chassis and 50 blades in both data centers.

• Lead Architect/Engineer on fibre channel switch hardware upgrade that was completed with no downtime and under budget; migrated off Cisco MDS 9509s onto Brocade DCX 8510-4’s.

• Lead Systems Engineer on project to migrate VMs to another data center using the VM Migrate utility.
