Take dirty instruments to CS. Help in room turnovers and terminal cleaning. Help maintain and create preference cards, ordered supplies and equipment. Trained students and new employees in functional endoscopic surgeries.

Working in this hospital has helped me understand of how different hospitals operate. I went to UC to carry out my studies to become a CST, while in school I did my clinical rotations at Jewish hospital. Working in central service I have learned tons of instrumentation, different medical equipment and I learned how central is a huge part of the OR environment. Learning each surgeons specials, what instruments they prefer and use on a daily basis.
