DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting diagnostic assays: Performing different laboratory tests using various techniques such as PCR, ELISA, and immunofluorescence assays.
• Sample analysis: Examining blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples to detect the presence of specific antibodies, antigens, or genetic material related to various pathogens.
• Quality control & Calibration: Ensuring the accuracy and precision of test results by complying to standard operating protocol.
• Data interpretation and verification: Analyzing test results, interpreting findings, documentation, and reporting the results to clinicians for diagnosis and treatment.
• Instrument maintenance: Performing regular maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Compliance with regulations: Adhering to laboratory safety regulations, including handling infectious materials safely and maintaining proper documentation of laboratory procedures from institutions such as CAP, CLIA, DNV.
