WORK EXPERIENCE

Company: Amandi Energy / Twin City Energy / PE Power Aboadze Enclave Date: November 2022 to date

Position: Mechanical Technician

Duties:

• Cleaning, repairing and installing equipment and parts as needed.

• Operating varieties of hand tools and power tools.

• Carrying out preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as pumps, conveyor, belts and other equipment.

• Maintaining records of maintenance and repair works.

• carrying out troubleshooting on mechanical systems

• Carrying out maintenance works on plant and equipment (pumps, valves, mechanical seals and bearings)

• Carrying out inspections on all mechanical equipment daily and recording findings from inspections.

• Check all malfunctioned machinery and equipment and conduct root cause analysis to diagnose whether to repair or replace.

• Carrying out preventive maintenance (lubrication, mechanical integrity checks and visual inspection on pumps)

• Assembling, installing, maintaining mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.

• Working in coordination with Safety and Environmental Units to comply with environmental

Duties:

• Assisting the maintenance team for maintaining schedule for inspecting, services and testing machines

• Assisting mechanical team to perform general maintenance work on machines.

• Carrying out preventive maintenance (lubrication, mechanical integrity checks and visual inspection on pumps.)

• Check all malfunctioned machinery and equipment and conduct root cause analysis to diagnose whether to repair or replace.

• Recording of Operation Parameters (Temperatures, Levels and Pressures) of the Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) and Balance of plant Equipment both on site and the PLC/DCS/HMI in the control room.

• Assisting field operators to carry out routine Inspection of Gas Turbine, HRSG, Steam Turbine and balance of Plant and report any abnormalities to the shift lead.

• Carrying out maintenance works on plant and equipment (pumps, valves, mechanical seals and bearings.

• Operating lathe machine for threading, shaping, drilling, turning and cutting purposes.
