I was responsible for ensuring students safety in the water, teaching water safety skills, teaching swim strokes and skills, and interacting with children and parents.

I was also required to do bi-annual trainings.

As a lifeguard I was responsible for watching the water, rescuing anyone in distress, giving first aid, cleaning, and interacting with the community.

As a lead lifeguard I was responsible for ensuring the safety and tending to the needs of lifeguards, interacting with the community, handing out wristbands, giving swim tests, and giving first aid. I was also responsible for filling out injury and incident reports.

With both I was required to do monthly tranings.
