Material Handler/ Inventory Control / Forklift Operator

• Operate forklift and material handling equipment to safely and accurately move materials from the warehouse, work-in-process (WIP) storage areas, trucks, and truck-trailers. Move out-going finished products to truck-trailers

(shipping & receiving / warehouse and machine / production assembly loading)

• Supplied 4 to 7 production lines with the product for continuous operation while continuously monitoring receiving, work-in-process, and shipping departments.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records, perform data-entry using the Production Control RF and Scanning System and prepare Work-In-Process (WIP) load-tags.

• Follow detailed instructions and operate a wide range of material handling equipment including octopus wrapper and hand-banding tools.

• Stage products by ensuring the correct materials are supplied to production stations at the right times and the Work-In-Process (WIP) materials are distributed to the correct locations in the final assembly / bindery areas.

• Communicate with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives reporting inventory levels, production status, WIP records, and planning and preparing for production runs.

• Maintain forklift and issue service orders for repairs. Repair minor problems with packaging equipment to keep automation flowing.
