PROFILE

As an individual who has many skills and experiences in the veterinary profession, I am

currently looking to broaden my knowledge and experience. I am looking for a place that will allow me to breakout of my current profession and into a whole new world of employment.

EXPERIENCE

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, NEW FRONTIER ANIMAL MEDICAL CENTER- 2016- PRESENT

Responsibilities at New Frontier AMC include taking medical intakes for exams (wellness, ADR and emergency) with vitals. I have a revolving schedule in surgery that includes a week of on call and being responsible for the surgery for that week. I calculate premedication and induction drugs as well as pain management drugs for surgical patients. I manage surgical patient’s anesthesia, prep for surgery. I preform dental cleanings and take dental radiographs. In clinic I draw blood, place IV catheters and take other radiographs. VETERINARY TECHNICIAN, FOUR RIVERS VETERINARY CLINIC, ONTARIO, OREGON

— 2013-2015

Responsibilities at Four Rivers including prepping for surgeries, monitoring during surgery, prepping for and taking radiographs. I took histories from clients and got vitals. Other duties included getting samples of blood, urine, feces, and running the lab work on said sample. I filled prescriptions, placed IV catheters and cared for wounds. I answered phones, checked clients out after appointments and created new appointments in the computer. VETERINARY ASSISTANT, BANFEILD PET HOSPITAL, MERIDIAN, IDAHO — 2010-2012 Responsibilities at Banfield included cleaning the hospital, stocking supplies to the pharmacy, rooms, and work area. I also helped in the lab, restraining animals and helping the doctors in general.

ASSOCIATE, TOYS R US, SALEM, OREGON — 2008-2009

Responsibilities at Toys R Us included unloading the truck and stocking the inventory of the store.
