MANAGEMENT

·Hon. Discharged with the rank of Sgt. From the USAF. Served as a Fire Team Leader and Entry control point Leader for a Combat Ready Unit with the 38th Tactical Missile Wing in Wuescheim AS, W.Germany. Which was a Nuclear weapons battalion of the Ground Launched Cruise Missile(G.L.C.M) deployment. Which also required a Military Top Secret Security clearance.

SALES

·In the motor freight business working for Fed Ex Freight, one must be adapt at the art of Customer satisfaction and service. With so many active carriers, the one selling point of our Purple promise was having the best on time and error free delivery service in the LTL business. We were the only Co. in the LTL arena that could boast that whether it was an envelope or 10,000lb skid, we had a sales package to get it moved to final destination. Our motto was and is, we all sell the brand.

COMMUNICATION

Meeting our customer and company needs required one to have the ability to articulate in such a manner that you leave the customer feeling like they are our only customer. Being able to problem solve to ensure the freight and customer, as well as Fed ex are totally satisfied and the job gets done, and done well.

Performing daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment, as well as the hook/unhooking of trailers and converter dollies. Daily tasks included freight handling using appropriate motorized and manual equipment to unload or load freight such as forklifts, pallet jacks or hand trucks. Securing freight inside trailers with appropriate tools, recouping/repair of any damaged or unpackaged freight, verifying and complete documentation and reports, complying with hazardous material regulations and procedures, collecting cash or checks for freight charges as required with documentation, follow dispatch instructions and communication with dispatch as required for delays, arrivals, & equipment problems.
