Over twenty-five years of fast-paced solid experience managing public works, new construction, upgrades, and modernization projects including design, scope, estimating, bids, budget, schedule, phasing, contract compliance, payments, changes, RFIs, safety, QC, testing, commissioning, closeout, etc. Managed client, staff, and stakeholder expectations, meetings, all documentation, prevailing wage subcontractors, vendors, engineers, technicians, and union labor on large public works construction projects.

Responsible for the daily operation of a job site, including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. Supervises all direct labor positions on the assigned project. Manages and oversees any contracted work on the site to ensure successful project completion. SJ Amoroso, Jan 2022 - June 2023, Costa Mesa, CA 92626 Project Superintendent, LAUSD- Kennedy High School- $21M Demo existing baseball field, and make ready for 24 portable classrooms, administration office, and kitchen. Upgrade all the campus underground wet /dry utilities. The project was delivered on schedule.

8/2018 to 2021, Morillo Construction. Pasadena, CA 91106 McClay Wellness Center & 92nd Street Elementary School Managed Design Built Wellness Center and supervised completion of daily coordination between subs, assignment of work, labor payroll management, and review of all legal documents. Managed RFPs, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, changes, bulletins, manage subcontractors to timely, efficiently, and profitably achieve business objectives. 1/2014 to 5/2018, J Liew Builders Construction (Malaysia Kuala Lumpur)- Construction Manager Served as Construction Manager on seven 40-floor, high-rise condominiums, a large, state-of-the-art shopping mall, and six underground parking garages.

3/2003 to 4/2012, Emma Corp. Santa Monica, CA 90404 Fulfilled the roles of Superintendent and/or Principal, Senior or Exclusive Project Managed more than 75 LAUSD School Safety & Technology (S&T) projects and new constructions (ground up) for LAUSD and other public education districts. Experience includes fiber optic, computer network, public address, security, and electrical systems projects for the LAUSD and other Schools/Colleges/Districts, by PMI methodology. Manager of prevailing wage construction activities from design through close out. During the recession to minimize expenses, I often fulfill both the Construction Project Manager and Superintendent functions (exclusively and simultaneously), in addition to other corporate responsibilities such as job/bid walk/meetings, assisting with the bidding for new projects, and assisting others with project written presentations. I report to Emma's President. The total value of more than $200M Project Manager - Rio Hondo College Central Plant Project – Oversaw and coordinated hillside stabilization, service road relocation, installation of various underground utilities, construction of an 8000 sq. ft. CMU building to house chillers, boilers pump skids, and all related piping and control systems; constructed the cooling tower yard and managed the installation of cooling towers and related piping ($18MM)

Coordinated Engineers, Technicians, Vendors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Inspectors, Professionals, Officials, and others to integrate the new networks with existing facilities, to the clients' requirements, and without disruption to ongoing school business activities. Served as the primary Project Manager for all remedial structural surveys and the closeout of structural engineering submissions and requirements. Specifications/deficiencies remediation expert. One of only four Project Managers entrusted to interface with LAUSD senior inspectors in the final punch list - close out of all "problem" schools.
