LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF. I’M A SIXTY ONE YEARS YOUNG. I

ENJOY BEING ACTIVE. I ALSO ENJOY THE OUTDOORS. MY FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR IS THE FALL. MY FAMILY IS A VERY IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE.

EXPERIENCE

Door Dash, Delivery Driver; Delaware, 2023 - Present My duties included, the pick up and delivery of food. Also I would get an assignment to shop at Dollar General, CVS, Acme Markets etc. I would use my own vehicle. I would schedule my own time to work. I enjoyed being able to help people who weren’t able to get out and shop for theirselves. Amazon Warehouse Associate, DE and NJ, 2020-2023

My first assignment was to pick products for the amazon delivery drivers. I was assigned to a specific route .I would then pick all the products that the scanner displayed in a timely manner. When I finished I would stage the cart in the area where the assigned driver would then load and begin their delivery. I also worked in Sortation Dept. On this assignment I would build pallets, separate packages on the conveyor belt to where ever section they were labeled to be separated. For example A packages go to A section,B to bB section etc. I also worked in section of the warehouse picking products in a fulfillment center in which a packer would pack the product for shipment to the customer. All of these duties had to be done in a timely manner to keep up with a certain rate.

USPS, Letter-Carrier; PA, 1985-2020

I was a letter-carrier for 35 years . I started my career January 19,1985. My first day on the job, the weather was 9 below zero. My trainer that day said if I make that day I would make it. At this time we had severe snow storms, nothing like I experience now. My duties were to deliver mail door to door. My schedule was Monday to Saturday with a rotating schedule. I started in Springfield, PA. I have worked in Media,PA ; Lima,PA; and Chester, PA .During the last 2years I served as the Safety Captain in Chester. My responsibilities included, making sure all carriers wore the proper safety shoes and proper uniforms. Making sure that all carriers checked their vehicles after clocking in. This was to insure that if a vehicle didn’t start the vehicle mechanic had enough time to fix the problem before the delivery schedule. Making sure that if a carrier had any safety concern that they would be addressed.
