Other key skills acquired during the course of Sustainable Agriculture Program include seeding, planting, weeding, harvesting, irrigation and application of Integrated Pest Management Principles in field. Also got hands on training on pest, weed and disease identification. As a result, gained confidence to take part in all kinds of farm maintenance and management. Data Collection was learnt throughout Crop Planning Project. The Farm Field Camp provided opportunity for direct seeding and transplantation, to engage in activities like greenhouse construction and to learn more about compost and manures. Program provided deep knowledge about Regenerative, Permaculture, Organic, Biodynamic and diversified farming.
