* Varied Auto Related Activities *

I have several years of experience in both Custom and Factory line work, I was ASE certified in 1980 after finishing Trade School at PCC and Mt Hood Community. I have worked in a Custom body shop, Car Dealerships, Four wheel drive Shops, and Auto Accessory Shops. My duties have ranged from shop cleanup, to prep, to bodyman, to painting while at the body shop. Dealership work as a new car tech and a used car mechanic. At the Four-wheel drive shops I worked as a mechanic up to shop foreman, then counter sales to Assistant Manager. I started as an Installer at the Accessory shop then worked my way up to counter sales, then up to Sales manager and Assistant Manager.

I also had the pleasure of owning and managing my own shop with multiple locations. I was in charge of all scheduling of employees and customers, all billing, promotional events, bidding from flat rate books, setting up radio and newspaper ads, and running the office and shops daily operations at all 3 locations. I also kept up all the leases, insurance and payment of all bills, supporting several employees at a time and also worked well alone during service calls.

* Job Related Duties *

Between the 4x4 and Off road and Accessory shops, I have installed everything you can imagine. Lift kits (both spring type and air bag style), Gears and Lockers, Disc brake conversions, nerf bars, steps, winch bumpers and winches, roll cages and roll bars, lighting of all kinds (driving and fog type, Neon strips and tubes), lowering kits, Lambo doors, shaker hoods, V-8 conversions, 4x4 conversions, also built and fabricated hard shell bed covers, split tail gates and wagon door gates for pickups. As sales person and sales manager I have setup displays for showrooms and trade shows.
