I have used my degree in Industrial Technology to design all aspects of solar systems both in residential and commercial applications. I am responsible for all architectural blueprints. I also draw the electrical schematics from wiring up the modules to main service panels and subpanels on job sites and all the way to connecting it with the local energy companies like PG&E, Merced Irrigation District, SCE from Bakersfield to Madera County. I proof blueprints for my Department and file all construction permits for the Authority Having Jurisdiction up and down the State of California. Pete Jackson, the head of Bakersfield Building Department is also the head of the Solar Commission for the state of California and uses my blueprints to educate and demonstrate an example of how to successfully draft blueprints to obtain permits necessary for Solar Projects. I interface with our electricians and roofers every morning so they understand the nature of each individual project.
