EXPERIENCE

Duties:

Began as a laborer, and continued to build upon my existing skills by implementing my knowledge in wood framing with steal stud framing.

Became Comfortable with drywall, framing and insulation, however I specialized in taping and mudding and became extremely profficient.

I have also trained other staff with mudding and implemented my teaching experience with construction.

Increased my overall stamina, durability and appreciation for the trades.

Duties:

Evolved in the span of 1 year from a general labourer, to becoming an entry level taper (mudder), learning on bulkheads and closets.

Learnt the basics of framing and was involved in deck building. Learnt how to hang doors (prehung)

Worked at a fast and consistent pace throughout the day. I am an industrious individual who believes in the power of discipline and hard work. Throughout my life, I have gained knowledge and experience, and enjoy giving back. Recently, I have specialized in taping-drywall construction, which have built upon my existing organization and customer/client based skills. Though I am moving way from construction, I am highly coachable and adaptable and have a desire to learn. I am well versed in various backgrounds, particularly in multicultural settings and I am a detail oriented problem solver. I have also found pleasure in teaching my acquired life skills to anyone eager to learn. I aspire to continue to hone in on new experiences and tackle challenges in order to grow professionally and become an exceptional worker in my field and grow with the community in Iqaluit Nunavut.
