Experience

Project Construction Manager 2007-2023

•Project manager for large- and small-scale construction projects. Supervised teams of workers to manage inventory, build according to regulatory standards, and perform post construction inspection.

•Responsible for sourcing projects and submitting construction bids to government agencies and private institutions; activities include contract bidding, survey of sites, requirements gathering, materials purchasing/allocations, negotiations and sales.

•Consistently communicate with customers to collect requirements, ensure product specification meet customer needs and to manage the financial transactions.

•Supervise inspection of projects to ensure projects are built according to state regulatory code and standard.

•Led safety inspections initiatives on job sites to ensure worker safety - including adequate safety equipment, proper use of PPE, and education of proper safety measures for fall protection.

•Examples of projects that my construction company led and managed: Construction of the administrative building of Federal Medical Center Umuahia ($70K project), construction of drainage and culvert for a housing estates ($60K), drilling of water boreholes in various states in Nigeria (20 bore holes), installation/testing of water treatment plants (10 plants).

•Assisting Flow Station coordinator to maintain flow stations and Environmental upgrades, construct flow line, repair leaks on the flow line, cathodic protection.

•Participated in the design, construction and testing of water treatment plant.
