I also identified key contractual issues by obtaining/reviewing property leases, third party vendor agreements, and certificates of insurance to transfer risks to responsible third parties and/or secure subrogation reimbursement opportunities for self-insured /insurer clients.

•Litigation management: I directed, coordinated and managed the litigation process partnering with defense counsel to develop and implement a case by case litigation defense plan of action including establishing,maintaining oversight of litigation expense budgets by

reviewing/analyzing defense counsel and vendor invoices to manage the client's expenses while directing defense counsel in early and effective legal strategies of discovery. If required and cost effective, I requested use of legal nurse medical reviews, independent radiologist reviews of diagnostic reports/ films and all available investigative discovery tools which ultimately mitigated legal expenses and reduced case values often resulting in early pre-trial settlements and sometimes defense verdicts.

Success Ratio: I was able to consistently have high monthly closing ratios via my focus on the value of prompt effective settlement resolution of claims well within my assigned settlement authority using my negotiation expertise. These cost savings were my personal team, branch,regional and company wide goals being accomplished which yielded receipt of service awards as these efforts ultimately exceeding the established client performance goals outlined in the client/insurer account instructions.
