Duties include the ordering and management of inventory, providing customer service both in person and over the phone, over the counter-walk in sales as well as over the phone sales, managing staff, researching new products, arranging service calls, as well as entering invoices into the computer for accounting purposes. Maintain the stock in the warehouse, arrange for any repairs to the facility and vehicles utilized by the business, arrange for any temporary staff to assist in the warehouse, and many other duties related to operating a flooring supply business.

Santek Waste Management-Heavy Equipment Operator

Drove an articulated rock truck that hauled top soil to and from the face of the landfill, hauled soil and rock for the construction site of a new landfill cell, drove the water truck and spread water over the road to help tamp down the dirt and dust on the road caused by construction, drove a roll off truck and pulled the roll off boxes from the customer tipping area to the landfill and returned the empty box back, and helped the landfill operations manager wherever I was needed.

Started as a driver, then moved to managing the warehouse. After a while, moved to sales and then to managing the branch. Researched new products, wrote up sales invoices, maintained stock, met with vendor salespersons to discuss new advancements in the industry, managed staff, operated a forklift and many other duties.
