Assist in the operation and maintenance of a critical facility with 40-buildings located on a 168 acre campus.
Includes the following:
Centralized Plant w/Cogeneration: Mars90 natural gas turbine, 12 Mw generator, equipped with a Zink Heat Recovery Waste Gas Boiler producing 60,000 lbs/hr.
High-pressure steam plant with a battery of 4 Cleaver Brooks (DL94) 2000 bhp water-tube boilers, operating at 220 psig. Total plant capacity of 300,000 lbs steam. Auxiliary equipment: Transfer pumps, surge tank, DA tank and feed water pumps.
Water treatment includes softeners, dealkalizers, reverse osmosis and deionization station.
8,000 ton chilled water plant, (2) 2000-ton 17DA Carriers w/Murry steam turbines, (2) York 2000-ton electric chillers (R-134a), Alfa Laval plate heat heater exchanger using non-contact pond cooling during winter operations and a four cell Marley tower.
Ingersoll Rand Air Compressors (1) 250 Hp Sierra Scroll, (4) 200 Hp Reciprocating with cooling skid and IR desiccate dryers.
Electrical experience includes wiring motors, pumps, compressors and lighting; voltages ranging from low thru 277 vac.
Performed preventive/corrective maintenance across campus on extensive list of equipment; HVAC w/100% OA, preheat/reheat converters, VAV’s, condensate movers and return stations, pumps and traps. Maintained over 105 AHUs throughout site, varying in size up to 100,000 cfm.
All equipment controlled by Metasys, DDC and pneumatics.
Monitored all fire and life safety systems with Edwards and Fireworks interface.
Actively contributed throughout BP’s ongoing rapid change initiative focused on culture, learning and accountability; resulting in 600k in operational savings and a 270% improvement on PM/Work orders for 2009.
