As a finance and information systems undergraduate major and information systems graduate major at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Through my studies and previous work and internship experience, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of database management, investing, coding, quantitative analysis, and economics that I can use to contribute to the success of your team. As a member of the Smith Business Leadership Fellowship, I had experience working with a team to solve a funding issue for the Smith Analytics Consortium. In addition, I have been treasurer for my sorority, alpha Kappa Delta Phi, an Asian-interest sorority, where I have learned the importance of scholarship and leadership. I am also part of the American Red Cross Society, and I often volunteer at other organizations, such as Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series.

I would be thrilled to get to use the necessary skills to address project challenges and develop solutions. I think that the opportunity to collaborate with senior colleagues in quantitative equity management, integrating quantitative methods with fundamental insights and data will give me valuable first-hand experience in the financial industry. I am eager to learn from experienced professionals, work collaboratively with a diverse group, and gain hands-on experience in the field.
