Lead all team meetings at the start of shift being sure to cover topics like quality, safety and give a shout out to whoever had no errors while meeting them.

Proud to say I played a crucial role in the making of a new Warehouse Management System built completely from top to bottom, then being the first distribution center to go live w/ it.

Complete all driver paperwork seeing that each route is billed, and all invoices are bagged and ready for the driver being sure to include notes and load sheet/map.

Communicate w/ departments if changes occurred on a route or if any other issues occurred during shift. (i.e. miss slotted item or finding damaged or expired product)

Follow all food safety and OSHA guidelines, making sure associates understand and are trained; Never had a lost time accident on my shift in the 5 years I have been with Vistar.

Forklift/replenish, order pick or load, helping the team where I see fit at any given moment so that dispatch times are met on time, the team always exceeded the planned times.

Run Error reports, productivity and miss pick reports, and run the “Thru Put” numbers. The team was in the top 10 in multiple areas versus other warehouses in network.

Coach and Discipline up to 25 selectors and forklift operators on safety, attendance, and production when needed always using positive words.
