Objective
I am a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 23 years, experience working in the Emergency room, and urgent care setting. I also have experience in Primary care and Telehealth as well as Occupational medicine. I have excellent communication skills and I pride myself in being able to build a rapport with my patients in sometimes only a few minutes. I feel that I have strong clinical skills and can adapt to any situation or work environment. This has served me well managing patients with both acute and chronic illnesses over the past twenty-two years I have been in clinical practice. In addition to practicing as a family nurse practitioner, I have served as a clinical preceptor for nurse practitioner students throughout my nursing career. I completed my DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) in May 2016.
