Duties and responsibilities as Operations Center Manager

Career started as a Mechanic Equipment Operator, installing natural gas services to Primary residential homes, businesses and new high pressure gas mains in the Allen, Whitley and Adams counties area.

As Operations manager I was responsible for: the safe, reliable delivery of natural gas within the largest operating infrastructure of Northern Indiana Public Service Company; internal/external customer service, satisfaction, and safety; preparing annual O&M and Capital budgets; having a thorough understanding of clerical and physical labor contracts, administering/interpreting corporate policies, contracts, and procedures. I was a resource for information, and employee engagement to become self-directed; provided quarterly updates of corporate goals and objectives; provided training and performance management for all frontline workers, supervisors, and contractors. Provided the necessary tools and training for all employees to be productive. I managed plant, service, and clerical support employees to strive for superior customer service and best industry practices. Additional duties included OQ Coordinator, SME, MEA Evaluator Trainer, and OQ Steering Committee. Partnered with local union membership and supervisors, creating a local safety program which included a Safety Day, Safety Day became a corporate goal for all company local distribution facilities

Oversee the liquidfication of natural gas plant for the distribution to residential homes in businesses in the Garner and Mason City, Iowa area.

Also, I was responsible for the safe, reliable, and diligent operation and maintenance of liquified natural gas facilities.

I was contracted for one year to get the plant up production up 20% over 2011 average.
