• Assist in maintaining accident and incident records, files, and reports. Requires data entry and corrections to files on an as-needed basis.

• Conduct safety audits, fire extinguish inspections, and other safety related Equipment.

• Process Occupational Hazard Reports including investigating the hazard and ensuring mitigations are in place.

• Perform other qualified duties as assigned

• Establish a process to verify that corrective actions, as a result of incident investigations are documented and implemented

• Safety Meetings for all hands, and other communications to keep crews updated and informed of changes related to HSE

• Training, Certifications and Record Keeping

• New hire safety training orientations (Hazcom, PPE, CPR, etc.)

• Identify needed resources (such as personal protective equipment) and budget for resources, identify required training for employees in various operations.

• Inspects work areas for potential environmental, safety and health non-compliance issues and report’s findings to workplace leaders while recommending abatement actions for identified deficiencies; monitors corrective action and tracks task to completion.

• Develops and/or reviews a variety of training lesson plans; presents environmental, Safety and health training ; presents orientation training.

• Identifies implements and maintains appropriate training facilities, materials, and resources to support HSE training needs;

• Submit regular reports to the HSE Manager on the status of the HSE training program. Analyze trends and make recommendations for improvement.

• Conduct Training sessions to key personnel as required.

• Continuously research best practices relating to HSE learning for implementation and ongoing design improvement.

• Sets a good example to the workforce by following all environmental, safety, and health regulations, policies, procedures and practices; keeps work area/equipment clean and orderly.

• Influencing and mentoring facility leadership toward the strengthening of an Interdependent HSE Culture
