Work Experience
Electro-Mechanical Technician
Performance Pulsation Controls - Sunnyvale, TX
June 2022 to July 2022
This company had to lay some staff off in 2019 and I was part of that group. But before that, the company had hired a well seasoned Plant Manager who came out of retirement from Goodyear Tires. He hire me to help rebuild the Maintenance Dept, and do a few new installs on some major machinery. Within 3 months, I had a new P.M system established, installed a new boiler system, new extruders and wrote a program for training new personal assigned to overhead Crane's department. I was excited I was given the opportunity to come back and work for this company . However, 2 days before I was to start, I over worked myself in the middle of hot afternoon, and suffered a major heat stroke and could not maintain the energy and strength needed to handle the enormous responsibilities of hands on Maintenance Manager.
